Bernard has his ideal life: a good job, a loyal housekeeper, a beautiful Parisian apartment, and 3 fiancees, all air hostesses for different airlines that are constantly taking off, landing, or mid-air at any given moment. On a particulary hectic day, an old friend from school, Robert, comes to visit from Wisconsin. As Bernard's carefully calculated schedule slowly falls apart, Robert attempts to help him and Berthe keep it together.
