The talented Theatre students at Navarre High School, under the direction of Jan Savage, present the hit musical “Footloose” in PSC’s Ashmore Auditorium. Based on the 1984 film of the same name, “Footloose” tells the story of a rebellious teenager named Ren McCormack who moves to a small middle-American town where dance is forbidden. True to his nature, Ren encourages his classmates to defy the local pastor and call for a rock 'n' roll prom. The score includes familiar hits such as “Let’s Hear It for the Boy,” “Footloose,” “Holding Out for a Hero,” and “Almost Paradise.”
