"I've always wanted to smash a guitar over someone's head. You just can't do that with a piano." Elton John's unique blend of pop and rock styles turned him into one of the 20th century's biggest music icons. What better way to celebrate his musical hits than with laser light accompaniment? Sit back, relax, and let this unique light and sound experience move through you. And don't worry, you'll be safe from any flying pianos! Showings of "iPop" are approximately 40 minutes in length. The remaining 20 minutes will be spent with an interactive space-themed Q&A with planetarium staff, making use of the planetarium facility. Guests with ticket reservations should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to show time in order to check in and ensure a place in the reserve line for seating. Reserved ticket check-in is available at the table in front of the planetarium entrance. Once the show begins, here will be no late seating due to the dark interior of the planetarium. The Planetarium is located on the south side of the Physical Science Building (PS 15) in the southwest corner of MCC's Southern & Dobson campus. The Planetarium is near the intersection of Dobson Road and Planetarium Way, across from the Dobson Road entrance to Banner Desert Hospital.
