Description
The top alternative songs of the 1990s helped usher in a major cultural shift, as serious-minded, image-free bands blew hair metal and pop off the airwaves almost overnight. Many of these bands have gone on to become the new ruling class of rock n’ roll in the years, and decades, that followed. Showings of "Laser X" are approximately 45 minutes in length. The remaining time will be spent with an interactive space-themed Q&A with planetarium staff, making use of the planetarium facility. Guests with ticket reservations should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to show time in order to check in and ensure a place in the reserve line for seating. Reserved ticket check-in is available at the table in front of the planetarium entrance. Once the show begins, here will be no late seating due to the dark interior of the planetarium. The Planetarium is located on the south side of the Physical Science Building (PS 15) in the southwest corner of MCC's Southern & Dobson campus. The Planetarium is near the intersection of Dobson Road and Planetarium Way, across from the Dobson Road entrance to Banner Desert Hospital.
